Infrared Electrical Inspections
Infrared thermography can identify abnormal heating associated with loose connections, overloaded conductors, and failing components while equipment is operating, before those conditions lead to an outage.
Facilities usually ask for a survey because an insurer or a maintenance program requires one, or because something is running hot and nobody knows why.
I work with a certified thermography partner to provide infrared surveys. They perform the survey and issue the thermographic report. I coordinate the work and review the findings against your electrical system.
If a survey identifies abnormal heating or another electrical concern that needs engineering evaluation, I can take it from there. That may include reviewing conductor loading, protective device coordination, equipment ratings, or whether the arc flash study needs to be updated.
